Clutter, tchotchkes, figurines and dare I say it, those dreaded Hummels leftover from Aunt Mary’s china cabinet that you have carted around with you since her funeral have just got to go! I long for clean lines, bold color, chrome and lots of it.

I have been fantasizing about what my home would look like if I could start fresh, decorate with a new vision that would include modern style and architectural élan. While contemplating a makeover in my bathroom, I came across these wonderful modern shower panels from Treasurecomber.net.

Always remember, in modern and contemporary styling, less is more! Try not to over decorate. Let the clean, sweeping lines of modern design speak for itself. And if anyone asks what you did with Aunt Mary’s Hummels, just say you put them away for safekeeping, unless the person asking would just love to have them. In that case, let them go with your good wishes and know that the Universe loves order and until you make space, nothing new can come into your life.
