I’ve been rather nostalgic lately for the Hollywood style and glamour of the past. Art Deco was all the rage in fashion and furniture. Movie stars were truly worshiped as the name implies and the glamour and sophistication of the 1930s helped people dream big. I know I could use a little glamour from time to time in my own life, and mirrored, Art Deco furniture is an amazing way to glam up your ordinary decor.  This makes a wonderful side bar. Martinis all around? My new silver cocktail shaker will look incredible on this piece. It brings my attitude to a whole new level.

Nothing compares to the elegance of the Hollywood stars of the 1930s era. I can’t wait to bring a little bit of this energy into my own lifestyle. Of course I will have to buy a new wardrobe to match my new Art Deco furniture.  Silk dressing gowns and a feather boa. Perfect!

The Drama, the romance and the clean, edgy design elements were thrilling.

What an  exiting age this must have been. Art, Jazz, Pablo Picasso and Modigliani, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Zelda   ” The Great Gatsby”!

 This is one of my favorite pieces. A mirrored side board that would turn any dining room into a FINE dining room.
