Any pet owner will tell you, their pets are like people and they love them and consider them members of their family. Speaking of family, I believe I promised you some tips about family run businesses in last week’s blog.
Here is my business “sutra” ( sanskrit for thread of wisdom) for the week about working in a family run business:
Make the time to compliment a family member on what a great job they are doing. A little praise can go a long way. Forgive and let go of any past resentments. Your heart will sing!
If you are fortunate enough to have your family pets in your work place, make sure you take the time to acknowledge their presence. Take a 10 minute break and play with your pets. You will both get a tremendous benefit. Pets and a loving disposition are one of the best stress reducers there is. Until next week,
